Name: Daniel Simpson Draper
Height: 6' 3"
Dan Draper is the eldest son of Donald and Elizabeth Draper. Born in Fairborn Ohio, near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, He spent the first few years of his life in the Dayton, Ohio area, until his father, through a series of promotions, was transferred to Eglin AFB in Florida, Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota, Goodfellow AFB in Texas, and Andrews AFB in Washington, DC.
When he decided to enter the Air Force himself, in high school, he was promised a scholarship to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The family moved there, after his father arranged a transfer to Peterson AFB nearby.
When he graduated, he was stationed at Moron AFB near Seville, Spain. There he met Aurora Borealis, who was working in a small U.S.O. office there, shortly before it closed. He fell madly in love with her, and, when she went back home to be with her mother, following the death of her father, he sought a transfer to Wright-Patterson AFB, to be close to her.
They were married shortly after he returned to the states, and his son, Dipper, was born shortly thereafter. He put up with the long commute to Dayton, staying on the base every other night, in order to be there for his wife and son.
Unfortunately, the situation in the middle east had other plans, and he was transferred to Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, where he stayed for 4 years.
Shortly before his second tour was up, he was injured in an attack while visiting Camp Dwyer. This left him bed-ridden for several months, until he was well enough to be moved back home to West Virginia.
He is currently undergoing physical therapy to help him regain his strength.
Dan has khaki green fur, except for his muzzle, which is white. His hair and nose are a darker shade of khaki green. His eyes are a dark sapphire, almost navy blue.
Dan used to always be seen either in Air Force khakis or dress uniform. Since his retirement he can usually be seen wearing navy or khaki sweats, especially if he is doing any therapy, or his blue bowling shirt, which he wears on league nights, something he picked up at the insistence of his doctor, that he get more exercise.
